Candle Bar Events Coordinator

We are looking for someone to join the vibrant and creative team at NaturalAnnie Essentials Candle Bar, where we believe in crafting unforgettable experiences through the art of candle making. Located in the heart of Bridgeport, Connecticut, our candle bar is a haven for those seeking a unique and delightful experience.

Job Overview:

We are looking for a passionate and dynamic individual with a proven track record to join us as our Candle Bar Events Coordinator. In this role, you will be the creative force behind planning and managing our in-studio candle making experiences, special themed events, collaborative projects with other crafters, private parties, and attracting new guests to our candle bar.

Responsibilities:

  • Candle Making Experiences:
    •
        • Plan and execute engaging themed in-studio candle making experiences for individuals and groups.
        • Develop and organize special themed events to add a unique touch to our candle bar offerings. Example: organizing our annual games night, Valentines day events etc.
        • Coordinate activities, and any additional elements to enhance the themed experience.
  • Collaborative Projects:
    •
        • Reach out to local crafters and artisans to organize collaborative events at the candle bar.
        • Foster partnerships to create exciting and diverse crafting experiences for our guests.
  • Private Parties:
    •
        • Be the main point of contact for persons interested in hosting private parties at the candle bar
        • Plan and manage private parties hosted at the candle bar, catering to various occasions and celebrations.
        • Customize experiences based on the preferences and needs of private party bookings.
  • Marketing and Outreach:
    •
      • Develop and implement strategies to attract a consistent flow of new guests to our candle bar.
      • Utilize social media, local partnerships, and other channels for effective outreach and promotion.

    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience in event planning and coordination.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Creativity and a passion for crafting and creating memorable experiences.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
    • Knowledge of marketing strategies and outreach techniques is a plus.

    Candle Bar Assistant

    Job Overview:

    Picture this – a room filled with laughter, the sweet aroma of hand-poured candles, and a team of passionate individuals creating memories. As our Candle Bar Assistant, you'll be the secret ingredient that makes our candle-making classes not just classes but epic experiences.
    You must be 21+ to apply for this position.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Party Vibes Curator:

      • Greet, welcome & seat guests as they enter the candle bar
      • Infuse the room with energy, excitement, and positive vibes during candle-making classes.
      • Keep the party spirit alive by engaging with participants, cracking jokes, and ensuring everyone feels the magic.

    2. Materials Maestro:

      • Assist the host in setting up and organizing materials for each class.
      • Be the go-to person for participants, helping them choose colors, scents, and sharing insider tips for the perfect candle creation.

    3. Dance Break Coordinator:

      • Spontaneous dance breaks? Absolutely! Keep the energy high by initiating impromptu dance sessions to the rhythm of the melting wax. You don't need to be a dancer! just have fun with the guests

    4. Cleanup:

      • Work alongside the team to tidy up the candle bar after each class.
      • Make cleanup a breeze with a positive attitude and a dash of efficiency.

    5. Instagrammable Moments Maestro:

      • Capture candid and Instagram-worthy moments during classes.
      • Encourage participants to share their creations on social media, making our candle bar the talk of the town.

    Qualifications:

    • Ability to "read the room"
    • A love for all things fun and festive.
    • Outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to dance (or at least a willingness to try) and spread infectious joy.
    • Basic organizational skills to assist in setup and cleanup.
    • Creativity and a passion for making every moment memorable.

    AVAILABILITY: Night, weekend availability is a must. Our candle bar is open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and additional days for private events.
